In addition to leading our team, I oversee the various aspects of our planning process. Garrett and I closely collaborate on financial plans and client solutions. My focus is on quarterbacking the process with an emphasis on asset allocation.

I started back in 1993 but changed the name to Providence in the early 2000s.

I’ve had various certifications through the years but the one that’s been the most helpful and enduring is Certified Wealth Strategist (CWS).

I’ve also completed my Series 65 to serve as an Investment Advisor in a fiduciary role.

I completed my undergraduate work from the University of Tennessee back in 1983. It included a major in Educational Psychology and Guidance, a minor in Geography, and a minor in Business. My post-graduate work was in seminary and Spanish language.

I was born and raised in Oak Ridge, TN and graduated Oak Ridge High School in 1978.

Sandy & I were married in March of 1987 and have two married, adult children; Eva was born in January of 1989 and David was born in October of 1990. After Sandy, they are my closest friends! We have three grandchildren.
